Where’s My Plow is an AVL (Automatic Vehicle Locator) tool that shows where each piece of the town’s snow clearing equipment is at any given time. This map is viewable on all mobile devices, desktop computers and operating systems.

This tool features enhanced icons to represent the sanders, loaders, and graders that make up the town’s snow clearing equipment fleet. The movement of the equipment, (refreshed every two minutes) is overlaid on a Google map while the direction of the icon shows which way the vehicle is travelling.

Each piece of snow clearing equipment is identified on the map with a green or red dot. Green dots represent vehicles in service while red dots are associated with inactive vehicles. Vehicles may be listed as inactive during snow and ice events due to repairs, refueling, replenishing supplies, or allowing a salt application to activate, among other reasons.
