The Town of New-Wes-Valley received the following safety guidelines from Municipalities NL for Halloween during Covid-19: Guidance for Halloween Activities As announced last week, many Halloween activities can continue safely, with special precautions, provided that the number of COVID-19 cases in our communities remains low. It is important to monitor public health guidance from the Department of Health and Community Services, as the situation can change quickly. The town of NWV is pleased to announce the opening of Beothic Arena On November 2,2020  subject to the Covid -19 Provincial Health Order. Council supports the social/recreational needs of individuals within our community and our region. This arena can only remain viable with the support of our residents, neighboring communities, our active user groups and volunteers. Council is committed to support the finances required for the operations of  2020/2021 season, however given the significant contributions that is required our hope is families will get out and support our arena, get involved, be active, attend our public skating, sign up for curling etc. This year operations may look a little different and we encourage everyone to educate themselves on the policies in place by the province…

Our Location

New-Wes-Valley is situated on the eastern coast of the province of Newfoundland & Labrador.

The town can be found by driving approximately 1 hour on Route 320 (exit off the Trans Canada Highway at Gambo) or alternatively, by driving approximately 1.5 hours along Route 330 (exit off the Trans Canada Highway at Gander). New-Wes-Valley is home to local tourist gems including the Barbour Living Heritage Village and Norton’s Cove Studio & Cafe. It is also part of the Road to the Shore network of scenic seaside routes boasting beautiful beaches and breathtaking coastlines. There’s ample opportunity to see wildlife, icebergs and whales!
