The Town of New-Wes-Valley will be partnering with Pearson Academy and the Cape Freels Development Association to host the annual Team Up to Clean UP! This year, and every year to follow this event, will be hosted in memory of our dear friend Florence Cross. Florence had a passion for all things children, community oriented and that involved keeping our community and earth clean. She was a huge advocate for this event every year and this is something we want to ensure continues in her memory.

On June 15^th please drive with caution in the community as you may see many school aged children out and about, we will also be partnering with the Shore Rides Transportation program to move people around the community to areas that need more focus.  We are also encouraging residents to get out and pick up a bag or two of garbage. Maybe on your walk, near your property or an area that you know may need a little extra tidying. Garbage can be left for pick up during your regular pickups.
