Starting 8:30a.m. there will be a scheduled water shut down in Newtown on Monday, August 9th, 2021. Residents can expect water to be off all day.

This will affect residents and businesses from the Newtown Post Office to Peter Halls House. This includes East Drive, Hunter’s Lane, Sea Lane & Church Lane. This shut down is necessary to make the water connection across the new bridge.

In addition, the road where the bridge is located will be closed while work is being performed.
